Dr. Claudio Tuda is the Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In Argentina, he completed his residency training in Internal Medicine. He did a research fellowship in Microbiology at the University of West Virginia and then two years of fellowship in Special Immunology/AIDS at the University of Miami. He did his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center and his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at University of Miami.
Dr. Tuda joined the University of Miami Division of Infectious Diseases and Mount Sinai Medical Center faculty in 2000. He is a voluntary Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami and Florida International University and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.
His fields of interest are general infectious disease, HIV and hepatitis C.
