Our Infectious Disease physicians have been working in the community in both academic and clinical settings for over 40 years. All have privileges at Mount Sinai Medical Center and hold academic appointments at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and Nova Southeastern University. All are actively involved in teaching medical students, interns, residents and Infectious Disease fellows. In addition to serving as teaching ward attendings for Internal Medicine, our physicians comprise a large portion of the core teaching faculty, holding morning reports, grand rounds and teaching conferences. In conjunction with faculty at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, our physicians teach Infectious Diseases fellows in both the inpatient and office settings.
